All of this started with the parisian architecture cabinet PCA-STREAM.
They were working on the rehabilitation of the Nouvelles Ardoines in Vitry.
Going from an old train station, to a living lab and a cultural center.

Our task was to create a tool allowing the visitors to discover the place and the future activities to do.

The idea was to create an immersive experience,
bringing a fantastic garden indoors for everyone to evolve in.
Now appears on your smartphone a 3D map of the building, filled with a colorfull vegetation !
Inspired by the "game of life" algorithm, plants will evolve depending on their surrounding.
Up to you, and others, to plant them accordingly, for them to have a prosperous life !
As a bonus, secrets QR codes are hidden all around the place...
Find them, and you will unlock new species of flora
Coming back at the table, you'll be able to plant them, and share with others the secret of their location
‘‘Underground root system carrying nutriments across complex networks of vegetation’’
Augmented Reality App
Shared Digital Garden

After researches and brainstormings,
we had three main ideas to bring together...
Promoting an eco-frienldy environment
Offering an experience to share with others

...then you can plant them amongst the others in the garden!

The experience takes the shape of a big, round table, with an illustrated QR code

Screen from the working prototype made on Unity

From there, each visitor is free to get the Augmented Reality app for smartphone !

It is a shared garden, evolving with each user imput !

From there, you get to choose among a variety of imaginary plants......

Also, this digital ecosystem has a life on it's own
